Watch your...

Watch your thoughts, for they become words,
Watch your words, for they becomes actions,
Watch your actions, for they become habits,
Watch your habits, for they become your character
And watch your character, for it becomes your destiny

What we think, will become

Peek-A-Boo!!!

Hi there!!

Well, I got something to share here. Recently I watch kids nowadays are being pampered by all these electronic gadgets. You can see them playing ipad, galaxy tabs or whatever gadgets that parents give to them. I wonder to myself, are these things really a new toy for them?

And I no longer see kids cycling around in the neighbourhood like I use to do when I was a kid. Or children hang out with neighbour's children and do children stuffs. I no longer see that...

Perhaps the safety assurance isn't there and that is why kidnapping and missing children are still in the news.

But kids need to play. Because that is how they learn. But how? They are no longer allowed to play outside without adult's guard. And the adults are so busy with work and no time to take a look of the kids. So how?

And the electronic gadgets are the answer!! And so the parents give them all these gadgets so that their children could play and have fun. For me, I don't like the terms of playing with these gadgets. Is there a thrill when playing it? Do kids feel the adventure? And do their mind works creatively when they play it? Depend on what type of games I wonder...

And that is what I assume until a friend posted a few pictures in her fb. Pictures of her and her daughter had opened up my mind that you do not need those gadgets to be children's toy. And I like the way she do it and 'play' with her daughter. And seriously, when the time comes, I will do the same way like she's doing with her daughter.

It's not just playing. It's learning as well. And the bond between a mother and a daughter is there.

She also blogs about it. So here I share the link. And perhaps, those who have kids, would do the same thing like this.

I recommend you guys to click on Crafts and Sewing Stuffs to see what kind of 'games' do this mother-daughter play. Hehe. Enjoy surfing! Peek-A-Boo!!
